Cycle controlled lathes are semi-CNC, semi-automatic,
teachable with automatic cycle lathes. They can be operated in a mode involving a certain degree of CNC control. Cycle
controlled lathes can also be operated in ordinary manual mode with the worker only working the handwheels and in
this way they preserve the flexibility that manual operation provides.They are very useful for producing very
complicated parts made in small batches
